I just finished setting up my first hackintosh build (Windows + MacOS). However, I cant seem to change the theme of the boot menu using clover configurator. The current theme that it only displays is the black background with white text, akin to booting up clover from a bootable USB. The Clover Theme Manager application allows OS X users to view, install/uninstall and update themes for the Clover boot manager, directly from the Clover theme repository. This application is based on the objective-c MacGap (MIT license) codebase which has been modified slightly to fit the purpose of this project. After extracting, you will see 90 folders in cloverefiboot-themesthemes. Here are the 90 Clover themes that you can use. Open screenshot.png in each folder to preview the theme.
Change Clover theme
Once you’ve found the theme you want, copy the theme folder into EFICLOVERthemes directory. AIO Boot is using the BGM theme so you can see the BGM folder here. On Windows, you can use the mountvol command to mount the EFI System Partition if you installed Clover on the EFI System Partition.

Ok now we will change a value in file EFICLOVERconfig.plist to change Clover theme. Open the config.plist file and look for the following:
Change the value of the two opening and closing tags of the string to the theme folder name that you copied before.
In the code above, I’m using the BGM theme. Save this file and boot into Clover for testing.
This way we can change the Clover theme without having to install the Clover Theme Manager. And of course, you can do this on Windows or Linux. In addition to changing the Clover theme, you can also change the screen resolution, ConsoleMode, language, mouse, and more. Check out the official documentation at Clover Wiki.
Clover is a neat little plugin for Windows Explorer which gives it Google Chrome-style tabs. With Clover, all open windows are displayed in neat tabs, allowing you to work between folders.
Like Chrome or Firefox, you can use the CTRL-T hotkey in order to create new tabs. Once you have multiple tabs open, you can move between them, modify their order or like browsers, move them to their own window.
With Clover, you can also use bookmarks. That allows you to create a list of folders which you use often allowing for quick access.
Overall, a time-saver and an excellent improvement to Windows Explorer functionality.
